The following query landing in my inbox the other day:
"I've got a small number of stickers to give the car an authentic look, like a triplex sticker and the BMC rosette decal on the windscreen, but I'm still looking for a sticker or decal showing period road signs that some drivers had in the quarter-lights - I've looked at various times on Ebay and other sites to no avail - do you know if anyone makes retro stickers or decals like this?"
I've seen original stickers in a few cars' windscreens, describing all the UK road signs, but is anyone making them new? I assume they were issued when new-style road signs were introduced - 1960s?

They certainly wont have survived being removed as they would have been self adhesive rather than surface tension stuck
If your correspondent can't find one of them, then try Model railway shops, they have sheets of traffic signs which could be put on to clear self adhesive film add adhesive lettering saying something like New Traffic Signs and perhaps individual titles for each sign.
Another alternative could be using a computer programme for drawing, designing, pictures. C&P what ever signs are wanted from the Know Your Traffic Signs book, which is on-line,

adding what ever text is wanted and then printing it on clear plastic. OHP film is still about and it might even be possible to print onto clear self adhesive plastic.
The programme would enable scaling to get the size required.
