Hi all,

Does anyone have before & after shots of their pride and joy, ie as found and after restoration? It'd be interesting to see the vehicles that have been tackled by members here.

Ooh, ooh, me, me!

Sportshatch exterior, before and after:

I do need to update the "after" shot, because it has the stripes and stuff now.

On the inside, it improved a bit as well. Before:

Seats are the same, after a bit of a clean. Door cards aren't.
and after

Before, just being off loaded after being found in a field where it lingered for 30 odd years.

After, around 9 years later and after an awful lot of hours work, the not quite finished article. Only very minor jobs were left to do.

I'm sure I can add a few to this thread; I'll have to hunt through my old photos and scan them first!

But here are a couple to be going on with:

Great pictures!
Amazing that the seats of the Vauxhall could be saved, respect.
Also good to see an Atlas van saved.

I wasn't satisfied with just one, but I don't have any 'before' pictures of the brown one Laughing

Wow, in the early 1990s I went to have a look at an Atlas that had been left in a garage for years. It was pretty hard to get at, it involved climbing into the adjoining garage and climbing through a hole in the wall to get to where the Atlas was stored. I often wonder what happened to it, the friend I was there with didn't bite on it and I had no room for it. There is a photo of it somewhere, although being so cramped it's not easy to see it.
