I use this site at the museum when a member of the public drops in some radiator mascot or another that I can't identify. I've discovered there were a lot of American vehicles (pre 1940) either imported complete or delivered into the UK for final assembly over here, resulting in a lot of our Grandfathers hanging onto bits & bob's off them.

Although an American web site it may be of interest and you just never know what that unidentified hood ornament that's been lurking under your bench for years could turn out to be - Hood ornament / Car Mascot

When I was posting a picture into another thread I came across this one from the same show - on a Buick, in Selkirk, Scotland.



A wonderful looking radiator ornament I reckon.
