If you see an old caravan on your travels, please try and take a snap of it and put it on here
As mentioned elsewhere, me and erindoors visited the Lakeland Motor Museum here in the UK yesterday, and amongst the exhibits was this large old 'van, I think a Burlingham from memory, so thought I'd post them here
With all the shows coming up I hope to get some more pics taken showing old vans, either preserved or derelict, hehe

Great photos Rick,
Just the kind of stuff I like to see. The top two vans at Weston Park, are they propriety brands or home made jobs...do you know their age ?
You had a “Historic Caravan club” rally just this past weekend over there didn’t you, has anybody got photos from that ?
Cobber. |

This Wildgoose caravan is the only surivor of four prototypes.
The Wildgoose Mini-based camper was not a mere bolt-on, a new wider rear floorpan was grafted into the Minivan bodyshell and a new modified rear subframe was designed to accomodate the widened rear end. A new coachbuilt body was built around this to make the reborn Wildgoose camper. There were two types of Wildgoose, one with a solid roof similar to the caravan and a second type with a folding half-canvas roof.
As an ex. mini owner I would love to find one of these to restore. |

Here's acouple of Commer's I've seen over the past couple of days.
This one belongs to a guy in one of the Hot Rod groups in Ipswich.
As seen on Sunday at a local classic car run. |
