First thoughts were a Lincoln Zephyr, but the bonnet (hood) line doesn't look right, so I'll stand back and let the American experts have their say.

The one in the log jam looks like it might have been a Hillman Minx.

I found out that the ex race car is a 1940 Studebaker Commander Model 10
A survivor that put up a good fight

My first thought was NASH.

PS when magnified there is a badge at the bottom of the grill that looks like the NASh emblem.

I spotted this truck at a friends junk yard
1951 Ford Flat Head V-8
it has VW beetle seats installed
