we have been identifying our aged excess inventory for disposal; i've been instructed to simply pitch any glass for cars older than 1995. being the pragmatic packrat that i am, i find it impossible to simply chuck out otherwise good inventory. the trouble is, that i'm in the USA, and shipping large pieces of glass such as windscreens or backlites would be unwise and expensive. HOWEVER; if you are willing to arrange for shipping, and i have the glass you need, i will get you a bargain basement price on it as long as it's not a currently high traffic part. (can't give away the store you know) SO reply to me here, i know for a fact i have a cortina mk1 windscreen, and two TR6's, one TR2, several Fiat doorglasses, etc. most of this stuff is filthy and covered in grime, hence the co's unwillingness to spend much time or money keeping track of it. unfortunately, the really ODD cars never got here in the first place, but i can try. |

apparently there's a hitch to all this; the glass used on cars sold this side of the pond isn't the same as that on YOUR side! with few exceptions, nothing we have would be legal for you chaps to have in your cars. had i known this last week i'd not have posted the first ad.
nevertheless... if you're Stateside and are having trouble locating window glass, let me know. i might be able to help anyway. |
