These photographs arrived the other day, and a request for information on the make of this toy Mercedes car. It looks similar to an open single seat Mercedes that I have but I don't recall the maker.

I have visited your web site and enjoyed it's vastness.

I am trying to find information about a battery-powered, stamped steel,
vintage toy W 196 Mercedes made in West Germany. I am hoping to find out the toy maker, approximate value, and a suggestion of where to offer it for sale.

It appears to be in very good condition with a few paint chips.
