Same thing on this side of the pond, I`m afraid.I used to be able to buy old rusty gas pumps from the 1950S for $100.
Now people want $700 and $800 for an old junk pump.
I have a good half dozen restored pumps now, from a 1915 "Sidewalk" or blind pump, to a 1927 visible, and a 1931 Clockface......

Have you tried "Primarily Petroliana"? I realize it is cost prohibitive to ship an old pump over from the US, but you MAY find someone there with leads or advice.

But that's not 80s more like 50s. I thought you were looking for something more like this? It's for sale at around £995 here - http://www.vintagepetrolpumps.co.uk/pumpsforsale.htm

Thanks looks nice, but after one that has not been repainted.

I am after the as is look, where its just been left there to fall apart.

80's if possible but open to other years as well.

Don't think so.

Best left where it is so all passers by can enjoy it don't you think?

Yes but you never know, at least it would be going to a good home .

I would have left it as it is anyway, I am looking to put one next to my garage workshop.

Keep me informed please. I would like to find out either if possible.
