Mo, thought you might be interested to see this old advert. Your Anthony Hoists brochure covers the later A70 Hereford, the ad below shows an earlier A70 fitted with an AH body very very similar to the all-steel body that could be fitted to the E83W Fords..I wonder if any of these survived?

Hello Rick in answer to your question on my other post. No not done a thing to my Pick-up (or my JO for that matter) I don't have the expertise or the time , which is a shame as I know I would get a lot of pleasure in driving them "MO"

Thats a shame Mo, does it need a great deal to at least get it on the road, if not restored fully for now??

I have been meaning to repost these pics, I am always interested in other A70 stuff (pick-up or saloon) So if you have anything feel free to post it.

Heres one that has had a bit of a conversion and now runs on 16 inch wheels

And the Pick-up? countryman supplement

Hi Mo, interesting to see the mag article thanks for posting. I wouldn't mind finding a Hereford diff if you find one in your travels, it is a little taller than the A40 one yet I'm told goes in the back axle casing fairly easily and raises the gearing usefully

Another pair for your thread Mo, spotted at the recent Goodwood meeting. Thanks to Pat, of E83W fame, for the photos.

I try to keep details of all A70 Hereford pick-ups I can find in the hope of maybe doing a small website one day, but here's one I did not know about. "MO"

oooo great to see it at last Mo!! looks great - do the integral rather than separate rear arches, suggest a late production A70 there? (as with the A40s)

Funny you should ask that Rick , Most people would tell you that the Hereford was only ever made as a ute style sided pick-up and that it was the A70 Hampshire and A40 that had the seperate cab/chassis body. I beg to differ Twisted Evil "MO"
