First Thursday of the month there is a classic & vintage gathering at a local hostelry, handily on the same evening as the VSCC monthly area meeting. I pottered over yesterday, and met up with Buzzy in his truck .. some pics:

Row of Austins

Buzzy's truck

A7 Ulster

A7 saloon

MG TD

MGs + Bentley

Jeep

A35, recently put back on the road

Lagonda

AC

Riley special

Next month there is a tour/run of the local lanes, so I'll try and get over for that one

Hi

I have a feeling I am unable to attend this Thursday, bit of a blow, but it is quite important why I can't come. Make sure you take some pics for me, and let me know what this run is like.

Cheers

Dave

Hi

Sorry I should have posted earlier to bring it to the top. I found I changed my plans and tootled over in the Ford, and there was a good sellection of interesting vehicles there!

I hope to see you there next time, if i manage to get there, if I do I will be the tall scruffy looking lad in the grey Ford pickup!

Cheers

Yeah a really good evening wasn't it!! it'll be interesting to see the E83W van that the chap has who we spoke with. If you come over zandycap, give us a shout beforehand, the next one kicks off at 7pm I believe as there is a road run taking place.

A few pics from yesterday evening. The pub was busier than normal, perhaps something to do with there being an ale festival and 120 ales on tap over the week Shocked

Hi

Here is a little competition, no prizes though I am afraid.

Lets try to state what each car is in each of Ricks pictures above! Pics numbered 1 - 7...

I will start, 2nd car back on pic number 1 is a Standard Coventry

Cheers

Hi, the next one features a road run so you'll have to get there early (7pm-ish) otherwise they'll all have left when you get there Smile

Looks a good evening out, but where is it exactly, please ?

Embarassed Duh ! Just had the fantastically brilliant idea of googling it. Nice to see they`ve even put a location map on their website. Even a dummy like me... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Another pleasant evening was had, dad came over and we took the Devon on the leisurely road run, 15 miles or so, arriving at the destination watering hole after half an hour or so. Very pleasant run out Smile
