Some photos from last Thursday at the Bhurtpore pub - as the evenings lengthen, the number of interesting motors will hopefully increase

See a few motorcars coming back late on, but doubt I will make it to many this year, working in the shed every night, or working elsewhere, only not there now as I am feeling ill.

Cheers

A bumper turnout for yesterday evening's gathering at the local watering hole. Buzzy and Salopian also appeared! No prizes for guessing which car was the "star" attraction to most people's eyes Smile

There was a good turn-out of cars at yesterday evening's gathering, a mix of pre- and post-war cars to suit most tastes Smile

It turns out that the Maserati 250S' engine is being run-in prior to a continental trip next week.

Great weather once more contributed to a fine turnout of cars at the watering hole, yesterday evening. A few of the cars that made it:

Cars, bicycles, motorcycles, and tricycle all were to be found at yesterday evening's pub meet, plus someone had the cheek to dump an old lorry and a pedal car in the same field (tsk tsk!).

Dark foreboding clouds all around didn't stop a core contingent of drivers attending yesterday evening's gathering.

Does anybody know if this meeting still goes ahead and if so when the next meeting is as it looks like my sort of thing and would be a nice little evening run out in the Vauxhall now that the evenings are getting lighter.

Hi, yes it still goes on and should start seeing a few good cars turning up now the evenings are getting longer. It's a VSCC meet at the core, although the pub has encouraged anyone with something interesting to turn up, so all are welcome. Most people usually start turning up from about 7pm onwards, first Thursdays.

Despite ominously dark clouds, several interesting cars made it to this month's meet last week.

Great weather for yesterday evening's meeting, shame I could only stay 'til 8pm so I may have missed a few later arrivals.
