Hi I am Ray from Mid Cheshire, I found this forum whilst trolling the web for information about Stromberg carbs.
I am 59 years old, retired having worked for the County Council. I have been interested in all things mechanical all of my life. I have owned and restored motor bikes, tractors, and cars. I like to do as much work myself as possible and I will tackle almost everything. At home I have a double garage and a single integral garage. I own 2 classic cars. I have various tools, in fact I am an avid buyer of anything new or unusual in the tool line.

Thanks, I am having problems uploading pictures from photobucket, I get an error message that only pictures in jpeg or tif are acceptable. As far as I know all my photos are in this format

This is my 1963 Sunbeam Rapier series 3a.

and this is my 1960 Morris Minor 1000

In the back ground are some of my tools, the blasting cabinet has been retired due to being a pain in use. This photo appeared in Practical Classics, "show us your garage". A few months ago.

Amongst the tools I am lucky to posses are a lathe, bench drill, bench grinder, 3 hp compressor, several spray guns mostly HVLP. engine crane, roll over jig, trolley jacks, axle stands and car ramps the ones you can adjust the height after driving on. I have 2 roll cabinets stuffed with all sorts of hand tools.
