Not when you just use the code and buy it from ebay! hahah
I did try my local supplier but they said "oh Cellulose oh cant sell that any more" I said "Yes you can its for an older car" they hummed and hared so I said ok dont bother and bought it with no problems from a great company who is in Brighton I think.
Anyway my old paint is so faded and pink I probably wouldnt want them to colour match to that anyhow!! lol hahah
Thanks for you nice comments though.

I had problems the other day trying to bleed the brakes and the old Eezibleed kit I had didnt have a lid to fit my master so I bought a new one. Worth all of the £17.99 I paid as today I was able to work on her during the day time I pushed out of the garage into the drive. Brakes bled in no time and done a bit more fitting the passenger side wing indicator. Over all looking quite shinier then when bought her. For me its good to have a good look at her like this as it gives me hope one day I may be able to drive her!

Looking very nice, and to me the paint looks still very good, why should you respray the whole car, better start another project with the money instead |

Well the paintwork looks better in the pictures than in real life.
I have been busy taking the door trims off so I could fit the wing mirrors I had sprayed. While I was there I fitted the new door locks I had bought ages ago. I hate doing trim jobs as its always so fiddly but the door trim was not too bad to remove.
John trimmed mine!
All back together.
I aslo made and fitted an oil catch tank as I was not too happy about pumping oily air back into my carbs
I then filled the cooling and I went for the Evans waterless coolant. Not sure how its gonna work out but Jay Lenno uses it so I hoping it will be good.

Well since I had everything back together there was nothing else to do but to give it a whirl! To my surprise the electrics seemed to work and afer a bit of adjustment on the pedal she fired up. Bit lumpy needs to be timed and tuned!

Only trouble was my wife came out of the house and shouted at me! Something along the lines of being 10.30 on a school night and I was waking the whole street up! The house was shaking and our front door was rattling!
Needless to say I didnt think it was that bad or sounded that loud!
Im hoping to do a bit more over the holiday.
Anyway happy Xmas everyone. I hope you all have a good time and will be able to buy and mend some lovely things next year!

Yes Lotus used to think the way to make something more luxurious is to add more ashtrays and lighters! As a non smoker it makes me laugh!

Me too
I think most British luxury & sportscar makers did this
my Wood & Pickett share its big ashtray with the Etype Jag,
it holds two 20 pacs easy (before they are smoked)
its first owner did smoke, and it eventually killed her
The Wool of England roof lining smelled so bad, that the upholstry guy put it in a plastic bag & sealed it,
while he had it in the workshop. _________________ http://www.eurods.eu/wp/index.html |

Nice to see the fruit of all your hard work, come together
Watch out for that smiling daughter of yours = she will soon take it off your hands
Have a friend here in DK with a Lotus, his Daughter & Son drives the car more than he does
