Hi

Decided to just watch the cheshire run from Nantwich, as they drive past today, instead of going to whitchurch like I normally do. Was nice to sit where I did there were a few others watching, but it was much quieter and was nice to see them driving, and accelerating after a sharp bend!

Also been working removing couch grass all day, and yesterday, more to do later, just stopped for my dinner! Bought some nice new securtears this morning, and on the 4th or 5th cut, snap! The ruddy handle snapped off, and the casting is crap, all bubbley so no wonder. Don't buy them from a carboot even if they are new!

Also at the carboot found a spitting image of Rick, found myself facing him, about to say hi, when oooo heck, this isn't Rick! You don't have a twin do you?

Cheers

Dave

When you see Rick, say: 'You must have a double!'

He's bound to respond with: 'Okay, make it a Scotch!' Laughing

ooeck I'll have to keep an eye open for, errrr, myself Shocked

Aye I watched the Cheshire Run from Whitchurch as normal, I didnt think that the main run came through Nantwich though, rather some using it as an alternative (perhaps shorter) route??

Hi

I was surprised, but heard them hooting and rumbling by, so popped down the road and there must have been a good 50 or so waggons over about an hour.

Have you any pics from at Whitchurch, wish I had time to have come down, but with llandudno all weekend next, thought I better do a bit of work this last weekend.

Cheers

Dave

Some photos from this year's Cheshire Run, which coincided with Drive It Day. The cream ute was dragged out and put on static display near to the stop-over used in the run proper, along with the Devon.

Apart from vehicles taking part in the Run, or belonging to spectators of the event, I didn't see many other oldies out and about that day..

Great stuff, Rick.

There wasn't a lot happening locally to me. It seems this coming weekend will be much busier.
