Hello,
We found this forum while searching for help with restoring a 1973 Cheltenham Sable caravan, to tow with our little baby, a 1962 Volvo Amazon 122S. Although not the same age, they are the same period and so look great together.
The car we have had for about 2 years and was a barn find. We finally got her back on the road in January after 34 years with piles of straw on her and hens sharing her barn. She is now restored, well to a point, she runs beautifully, has had lots of welding, but still needs paint and work on the suspension, which we'll get to in time. She's our daily driver and an extremely reliable car.
The caravan we bought last week as a project, but haven't given ourselves much time as it needs to be ready for the end of May as that's when we take the kids on holiday!!
This looks a great forum and we'll both have a good mooch around and will no doubt ask plenty of advice, especially about the caravan!

I've just seen that on some of the caravan post!
Even more strangely, other Amazon/ Cheltenham combinations too!
Thanks for the welcome, this is a great site! _________________ Ian and Caron |

Hi Gilberry,
That's us, but use an old businesss name on there. I must add more pics to the Volvo forum and continue with the progress report when I get a mo! _________________ Ian and Caron |
