Hi
Despite a dull day it seemed to be bigger than last year.
Firstly: Pictures of the different show areas.
And a selection of some of the cars.

Amazing and, I think, rare bodywork on the Daimler in the middle of picture number 18. I was also keen on the red Bedford Beagle (?) picture number 41. In the early 1980's I did a camping tour of the former Yugoslavia in a Bedford HA, it proved ideal. |

If you mean the green one.
I believe it is a Hooper bodied Continental.
Always make me think of Lady Docker when I see it. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Thanks for posting. I don't think I've ever seen a Super Snipe drop head before.

Thanks for posting these Penman, I've been waiting to get into the museum here so I could download the file - I must get broadband for home!
The Bond Bug - boy, did I lust after one of them when I was younger. Even had it all worked out that if I blanked off reverse gear I could drive it to and back from school, however the flaw in the plan was ........... I had no money to buy one!

Hi
The Humber is a Tickford
Quote: | The 4.1-litre engine was a tough well-proven unit and the Super Snipe was offered in four versions – saloon, touring limousine, estate car and drophead coupé, the latter being a particularly elegant and desirable motor car with coachwork by the long-established Tickford concern. This model was only offered for the 1949 and 1950 seasons and the received wisdom would suggest that approximately 100 were built on the Mk II chassis. Today, around 25 survivors are known to the Humber Club; however, less than ten are believed to be in running order | from http://www.carandclassic.com/car/C60915?pt=pf _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Thanks penman, some great pics and a great location. My favourite is that unrestored green vintage Austin, lovely and I think it would appeal to a few here.
Is that black Daimler SP250 ex-Met? It looks like it, my uncle had one as a company car briefly |
