Hi all
This amazing creation beamed down to a local garage the other day - does anyone know of any others in the UK? this one spent it's entire life in Arizona. It was originally used to lay bitumen on road surfaces, hence the Stewart Warner Bitumen gauge shown below.
It shares garage space with the 1/2 ton 40 pickup shown here too (which is for sale btw)
Old Chevys need a lot of feeding, this one is enjoying a 70s Oldsmobile as a mid-afternoon snack
The 1/2 ton '40 truck:

I thought a pair of J40 pedal cars would look quite good on there

I agree!
You better go get it if it's for sale. |

I think I recognise this place
This is my second favourite truck - the first being the one I have. I know I'll regret asking but is he selling the COE.... |

I feel the same about the Chevy COE, strange but captivating
The bigger trucks have the advantage of being TAX free and MOT exempt so far easier to get on the road.
Have my Chevy booked in for an MOT a week today - fingers crossed it all holds up and makes it to the MOT station, and then passes.

Nice COE, I was watching 'Jeepers Creepers' (can't remember if it was 1 or 2) a while back, and the monster drives one |

Whilst on another forum (Retro Rides) I stumbled across some pics of the COE posted by Rick, it was sold and is now fitted with a transit engine and looks like this;
BTW there's also a link to this very post as well.

Looks nice, but a pity it's not been left as it was with the 216 - not a lot of original ones left. |
