HI THERE,

JUST BOUGHT A VICTOR TO JOIN THE FLEET, BUT THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE GOES STRAIGHT TO HOT ON START UP. I'VE BEEN TOLD IT'S A FAULTY EARTH, IF THIS IS CORRECT WHERE SHOULD I LOOK FOR IT?

You'll probs have to get access to the rear of the gauge and check over the black (earth) connection, assuming the reading is false and the engine isnt genuinely boiling up... the sender could be suspect too (in fact that'd be the first thing I'd check). A manual or parts book should help find the components in the car.
