Hello,here are a few pics of my cars and a bit of backgound information .I have been interested in aircooled VWs since my father owned one when i was about 8 years old.I have owned and restored qiute a few over the years but i own only two.
Here is my Sunroof 1953 Beetle.This car is an early oval window model (they changed from Split to oval on March 10th)and the factory fitted sunroof makes this car quite rare for an original UK import.1953 was the first year VW officially imported to the UK and this is an early July car.I have owned this for 10years.
I also have a modified car .This is a 1966 model .
Mods:
Suspension: IRS rear narrowed 60mm/ torsion bar front narrowed 50mm
Brakes:Porsche 944 NA all round
Wheels:Porsche 911 Fuchs 6x15 with 195/65 rear and 145 fronts
Body :Stock
Interior:Stock
Engine:2 Litre Type 4 converted to upright spec .
