I've got to be honest and say when I started to read your post my heart sank as I've heavily involved in the preservation of old fire appliances and all too often I've seen conversions started on old fire engines that turned out to be the final act before they ended up in the breakers yard.

However, as my snails-pace dial up link slowly revealed each of your pictures of your very smart looking appliance I was greeted with what I can only call an excellent conversion. Very Happy

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product, which if the current standard you're building it to (and I've no reason to doubt you won't) continues its going to be a tribute to your work.

May I ask please, and only when you have a moment, could you take a photograph of the crest that's on the side of it between the front passenger door and the rear and post it into this thread - I'm very nosey and it looks interesting.

Scotty. Wink
