Take a close look at the XK & the photo's he had placed on the screen, very interesting. The lad on the roof of the rover created a stir!!!

A great show classic car wise, the airshow was a little dissapointing. The Vulcan did not fly, apparently due to the paperwork not being completed in time!!!

That Jag restoration is inspirational - I'm not a fan of exotica but I have great respect for someone who restores a car from that state. Do you know if it was rebodied?

The write up didn't mention it was re- bodied, it did say that someone had started to restore then just left it out in the open. Even the head had been left off the block!! I didn't see the owner all day, would have been good to get a chat with them.

Saw your car but not you - I was with the little yellow Auster (high winged small monoplane) in Royal Canadian Air Force markings not far from the classic cars. Unfortunately didn't get much of a look around the old cars, but a great weekend

Pic number eleven, the red car, is a Bond 875. That must be so rare, I once drove one for an hour or so. Lighter than a Hillman Imp but using the same engine the acceleration was dramatic, the handling, well let's say it was a challenge! Fibreglass body with alloy doors, very cramped inside.
