Hi All
I'm not the best at tech forums, but I'll give it a go.

My Names Paul, and have a 1937 V12 Lincoln Zephyr.. a pretty sound vehicle,
BUT needs a complete resto... I have trolled through the internet, and need HELP

I have a donor BMW 750iL complete , I would like to use all the running gear.. V12 engine, wire loom, TV, SAT NAV, etc etc etc. My dream idea is to have the ORIGINAL LOOK , and modern running gear...

I'm not mega rich, so looking for somebody that's got passion, and will work on a part time basis.. I don't know how to post pics on here, so if you need any email me

welcome to the forum Paul! that sounds like an interesting project, although fitting a modern 750 BM engine sounds like quite a challenge (I've a 750iL myself). Is the original engine missing?

Hi Rick..

Zyphyr is COMPLETE.. nothing missing.... the OLD V12 /Gearbox, glass, axles's are sitting there looking sorry for themselves.. I did consider re-vamping the OLD engine.. BUT would really like the BMW unit, as I have the complete car.. and would like the benifit of all the high tech stuff the BM can offer...

I know some will consider it a crime to ditch the OLD original V12... and I do feel a little guilty for wanting to do.. BUT I want the reliablity of modern, mixed with the look of OLD... IE classic interior, classic exterior.. a wolf in sheeps clothing AND if I use BMW as donor I can convert it to RHD... as I want this as a wedding car.. I will paint it WHITE
(probably pearl)

I'm sure 1937 original zephyrs will become extinct in time.. even in USA they can't find um... too many gone to the custom shop ..
