Thought maybe we could use a thread showing off our toys.
My current toy, 1957 Chevy 210 Wagon that is a little modified.
Was originally a 4-door, has all new interior with high-back bucket seats.
Newer style 350 Chevy engine (slightly modified) with 350 auto trans and floor shifter.
All side mouldings have been removed and its been painted Dodge Viper Red. Chevy rally wheels. Front suspension will soon be rebuilt with R&P steering added along with disc brakes. Also the beer keg fuel tank will be replaced with a conventional type.
Not a show car but a fun driver!

Wow, I like the little racer. I like all things small, as you may have guessed. The chevy is also impresive! |

here's a recent pic of perhaps the most presentable of the Bedford utes, sat in the storage yard at the docks in Sydney, Australia. They're all now in a container and due to ship at the end of the month...

My favorite car ever.
Why I ever listened to the wife and sold it is beyond me!
Somebody kick my backside please!

Very nice motors. I like what you have done to the Chevy, neat.
I´m not very knowledgable able Midget racers, I guess there aren´t very many in Europe that are, but isn´t that a Curtis style midget? |

The ute looks good, are you getting excited now?
The Studebaker Champion looks interesting also, as I am building up my car knoledge, everytime I see something new I have to search for it and learn more. Remembering the stuff is what I find hard!
My toy at the moment is the Penny farthing that I am creating. I thought in my garage I have wasted space down the side of the mini as it is so small, so I could maybe fill it with some slim PF's. |

Rick, I thought that the Bedfords were for restoration? That one looks better than some "restorations" I have seen! |

Hi UJ
Well the one above is all together but I'm told it'll need some re-commissioning, and the doors sag a bit on their ash frame. The 2nd one is in pieces, but solid for the most part, and the final one, shown below, is all original and (I'm told again) that it is the most solid of them all, although still needing some woodwork and re-commissioning, as its not been used since the 70s.

Rick, as part of my many talents (!) I can organise some Ash for you if you need it, and whats more, its relatively local to you. In fact, in lieu of time, I can organise an ash frame if you wish, steam bent or cut from solid, as long as you can supply the templates. |

Hello Rick, hello everybody!
As I've just signed-up, I thought I'd post here first.
Here's my 1957 Series II Morris Isis...
...and my 1956 Series I Wolseley 6/90.
The Isis is awaiting a new wiring harness to be fitted, having fried its old one in July, and I've not done anything to the Wolseley yet as I only got it the other week and I have a 1957 Morris Oxford Series III which I need to move-on first! It looks much better in photos I must say...
If anyone could offer any assistance with parts-supply (especially trim & brightwork) for the Wolseley I'd be most grateful, as thus far I've drawn a big fat blank.
My brother has a Series I Isis and I'll try and get him to join in due course. |
