The old rubber and windscreen out..

I had to remove a lot of very very hard putty and silicone sealent..

New rubber in..just the "chrome" insert strip to fit..

New rad in place..and working well..

Got rid of the wire supporting the rear of the exhaust..now has a proper rubber hanger..

Bodywork next!

Getting along nicely then, I too have to go and buy a new radiator cap, had kept the old one but on closer inspection I doubt it will make it for much longer!!
Still have to fit the chrome insert strip in the windscreens'rubber front and back too!!
However cant remember were I put the rear corner chrome inserts!!!! Crying or Very sad

You know you can buy a tool to do this..my advice is buy it if you have one of the re-manufactured rubbers and a new strip!
I have never struggled so hard to fit a chrome strip..all i can say is that i'm glad i hadn't just sprayed the car!

I know, I've used it on my minis, I ain't got one but always borrow one from someone, this time the sprayer will lend me his, infact i'll either fit them this saturday coming or the one after, depending on the yet to do list I am compiling!!

Windscreen rubber fitted..plus the chrome trim..so easy with the tool.
Sarah..my Girlfriend has been driving the car and loves it..we took it to a small show today and had to stop when we saw the colour of this wall....
