Just spent an hour or so at a small gathering a few villages away from ours - typical small village show, not a huge affair but as is often the case a modest number of vehicles but all very well turned out with one or two intersesting items on offer, amongst my favourites were an immaculate moggie traveller and what appeared to be a completely original unrestored Lanchester

I'm fascinated by the second picture as the motorcycle appears to have a pre-war sidevalve Vee twin engine with plunger rear suspension and a very modern, expensive, '' upside down'' type front fork. The petrol tank is done to look like a Brough Superior.
Do you have any more information about it?
I like the Moggie traveller as well. There is a company near me that does up Minors and modifies them whilst keeping the appearance as standard. He did one that colour with a K series engine and 5 speed gearbox that went extremely well. _________________ Keep Torqueing,

Is that an extra rain groove I see on the outer edges of the tyres on said Moggie Greenhouse?

With its wider wheels and extra exhaust, the Moggie must be highly modified. V8 Rover engine perhaps? |

I dont have any information about it as it didn't seem to have an owner anywhere and its bonnet was always shut, I did however see and it in morrisons petrol station along along with these two earlier so a V8 is a possibility

When I first looked at it I thought they were MG ZA/B Magnette wheels. The V8 theory is supported by twin tail pipes.

I didn't even know this Show was on. I went to Cromer.
As the man who writes the Club Magazine for the Norwich Classic Vehicle Club, Im disapointed about not including it in our fixtures list for 2009.
Especially as I noted two of our Members there (Cortina MkIII & Rover P4) ! _________________
