Can anybody tell me when Morco gas lights came into use, the ones with the knob at the side not underneath, thanks Steve

Hi
Do you mean the more modern type with the glass held on by a spring tentioned hook at the top of the glass. If so they came in around the mid 1960's. Our Carlight has them and that is 1970 and our 1960 Car Cruiser should have the type with the glass held on by a ring at the top with screws and a saucer heat shield at the top.

Thanks George, managed to get a couple of brand new fibreglass morco shades on my travels yesterday so more to the growing collection

I wasn't aware that morco made fiberglass shades, only glass ones in two sizes. Can you upload a photo of them?

I do know Truma made (and still make fiberglass shades like these...

Our holivan 107 has fibre glass shades, i'll take a look and see what maker they are.
