Hello ,
My name is Henning Gravesen and Aim a 50 years old aircraft mechanic. I have restored a couple of Sunbeams motorcycles. A couple a years ago I vas very luckily to find a 1935 Rolls Royce 20/25 in need of a full restore to a descent price. The restoration began in 2005 and I have spent about 1700 hours on it and I have enjoined every minute– the engine alone took 300 hours!! As the completion of the chassis came nearer I started to think about the body witch is in need of a full restore as well- and that’s where my problem starts- I consider my self to be a very keen metal worker but Aim not sure about the wood work. (And I don’t have the proper tools as well) That’s where the idea struck me that maybe I could help someone with the chassis if he could help me with my body-not to mention all the special tools I have made and now just laying unused in my garage. My idea was to swap work an hour for an hour- that makes sense in order to keep the cost of a restoration to a minimum. If someone is interested I have tons of photos just mail me. gravesenpc.dk@webspeed.dk

G'day Buller,
That is a beautiful job , you and Buddsy must be one of a kind, done to perfection.
I can see you are a aircraft mechanic your workshop has everything in its place not like alot of us, lucky we can remember where we put things.

G'day Henning, I wa looking at the rear braking system on your Rolls , I'm curious to know does the expansion of the brake shoes use the wedge system.
Does the front use the same dual system
Regards
