Have just resurfaced after a few years.

I live near Colchester in Essex.

I have, at last, started to rebuild my classic, been in boxes for aaagggghhhh years.

It is a DLM1 Special made in 1959 by a man called Dereck Laurence Masters, hence the registered as a DLM1.

The car comprises
Engine and gearbox - E93A

Chassis - Austin, think its a 12.

Rear axle - originaly 1930's Morris, model??, but had to change it, now from a Ford 100E

Body is two piece alluminium open top two seater with flared wings.

Paid £20 in the early 70's

Have just finished building an extention to the old garage so as to be able to do everything under cover.

Hi there Roger, I'm in Southend, so not a million miles away.

I'd like to see some more pictures of the car as it progresses - it is certainly very unusual!

Are you a vintage Austin.
Having trouble ID ing the chassis and axle, Austin 12, Austin 7, or a mixture.
Mind you if Austin used the same trackrod ends for all models problem solved
