We recently found four badly vandalised caravans in a clearing in woods on Anglesey. All have been stripped of their aluminium skins, cookers etc and the owners personal belongings have been scattered across the floors and the wooden sheds vandalised. This is the oldest and has a small plastic bath in the washroom.

we had this happen, my brother owns 30 odd acres of woodland and we put an old static on it in a clearing in the middle as he used to go over there with the ATC (he was an civilian instructor) he went over one Xmas eve to find that it had been stripped like this and they even took his trailer to carry it away in, the problem was that when the leaves fell you could just about make out the shape through the trees, he also had a dumper truck over there as well but they could not get that going but you could see where they tried to pull it out. this was about 10 years ago the remains of the caravan still stand and it is still dry inside in places, he got the trailer back a few years later he saw some one towing it around Norwich he knew it was his as he had made it took the car reg which the police then followed up on and got they back for him he had to tow it to the police yard as they did not have tow bars but it had been for about 4 years not far from where he lived and he had never seen it, the theiving gits even took all the equipment for the assault cause the ATC had built |
