I'm new to vintage caravans but have had vintage cars as my hooby for years. I agree the cupboards are modern but easy to change the faces of them as long as the structure is OK. Whats it worth? how bad do two people want it I guess, whatever it will e interesting to see the buying price. I would buy it if I had not already just purchased a caravan. |

have done a bit of digging on the thomson dart , three know survivours one with orignal interior, two have been for sale £1200 and £1500 both in nice condition
now what follows is my personal opion folks
the interior looks to have refurbished with formica, the two windows on one side ,have been added later, as the skylight
the year of manufacture is later than 1933 -34 as stated, i cannot find any referance for these vans earler than the 1948 caravan show , the three vans left are 1948-49
Thomson in 1933 where making nice single skinned hardboard, ash framed, vans, on disc wheels,
not ally skinned on easyclean wheels like on the dart
its a nice shape but not the most practical to use
as for value i think £1500 for a restored one is right |

Thats an interesting bit of information, I hope somebody can enlighten me on my own caravan at some point. Maybe at one of the Summer shows, roll on. |
