Having a conversation with some fellow caravan owning friends the other evening,we got round to the subject of fellow campers behaviour.

Our friends went to a C.L. site for 5 caravans,4 acre field ,stone walls ,trees, farm next door.
Great they thought,we will set up in the corner near the wall and tree.Came back later that evening to find a caravan that close they could hardly get in their caravan.
There were no other caravans on the site!!!!

We have had guy ropes nearly in our awning,a dutch guy put his tow bar in front of ours and we could look into his van and hear him snore that night!!! Tents pitched so near you fall into them leaving your caravan in the morning.

The foreign campers are the worst, they love to camp on top of you.

We arrived on a continental site which appeared full at first, everyone was on top of each other, until we drove through the site to find about 2 acres empty.

Having never had the pleasure of owning any children,we would drive round the site until we were away from the large family groups.

We would set up next to a retired couple thinking we were safe,no luck it was not long before a football came into the awning or hit the caravan.

"My dad`s been down the pub at lunch time and is now asleep,we have been told to keep quiet and kick our ball over here",the angelic child would say!!

At a vintage rally behind the row of caravans stood a large curtain sided lorry trailer, nobody knew what it was going to be used for.

Seven o`clock saturday morning we found out, mini buses with school kids arrived, set up their equipment and started to rehearse.

That`s right it was a Rock Music Competition. The walls of our caravan were being sucked in and out like the cheeks of your mouth.

We selfishly moved our exhibit to a quieter location .

What have been your caravaning highlights!!!!
