Can any one direct me in the direction of were to find a wiring diagram for a RF95 control box.
The previous wiring for my DLM was all done with one colour ??
All red, accept the battery cable
The only diagrams I have found so far are for the four and five terminal control boxes with no fuses.
This box has nine terminals and fuses, and if memory serve me correct, most of the electrics were connected via it
Thanks

Many British cars of 1940's early 1950's used this regulator - the first P4's were one of the last - see attached. This wiring will be basically the same for any "luxury" car, more basic ones just omit the extras!

Thanks Phil
As to omit extras
About 90% of the diagram
Apart from ignition, only lights and indicators

Gives me a heads up as have more or less the same on Bedford. I have a new box in the attic that looks pretty similar. |

Make sure you follow the basics as the lights circuit is wired to allow extra current when they are switched on _________________ Rover P2

Will do Phil
Will do a coloured wire edit with photoshop
That way I will trace all circuits and when wiring mine if it's not there etc.
Will also see if it looks like anything is interconnected as to extra current flow
Be after chrimbo though |

Hi Roger,
I know this reply is a bit old, but I hope these documents may help.....
I found on the net (I think it was an MG site) someone had uploaded PDFs from a Lucas correspondence course.
One of them details the workings of the RF95 Control Box, and the other documents are really interesting. The topics are:
1. Batteries
2. Starter Motors
3. Ignition
4. Generators
5. Control Boxes
6. Wiring circuits & looms
7. Lighting
8. Overdrive Solenoids
Maybe this info is already somewhere on this site... Not sure. Anyway I hope they help.
Just follow the link to the PDFs stored in my Google Documents Folder.

Great tech guides - it explains the workings of an RF95 better than my effort! _________________ Rover P2
