Well after all the fun of finding a trailer to recover the Paladin I thought it was time to build myself a trailer.
The basic idea is a B & B chassis with a raised and widened flat bed so it actually sits above he wheels, a winch on the front and a pair of ramps which can slide under the trailer. So if anybody hears of a suitable chassis I'd be glad to hear from you, preferably in the Midlands area.
The trailer of course will be available to free loan to all on here.

Hi

Why not fabricate a chassis, and put the axles/indespension unitson them, you couldhave a 6 wheeler trailer that way! hehe

I have just made one at work for a 3 ton digger, but with a muck spreader axle to go behind a tractor.

Cheers

Dave

To be honest Dave, I don't think my metalwork skills would be up to it

I will try my hand at welding when I eventually get around to repairing the 2 mig welders that have sat on the end of my bench for the last year, honestly I am getting closer to working on them inbetween customer repairs and still to finish my wireless trailer board, oh and there's just that electric piano in the corner lol. Seriously I do have time to restore my Paladin now I've learned to lock the worksop and switch my phone off
