|
|
Can anyone tell me if this clock is for a car or aircraft?
It is marked Smith's of Cricklewood - 8 day - Swiss made. - M1.
The outer bezel winds and changes the hands depending upon the position of the side switch. It is 2 1/2" diameter and is mounted via three holes on the base plate. Can only find "pawnbrokers" marks on the base.
What is the red arrow for? It moves with the outer bezel.
Any comments appreciated

30s car clock. I´ve got something similar but swiss made. Were mounted in expensive cars-sports cars of the 30s. Got mine on one of the lockers in my vintage caravan |
