Ooooo, that took me right back to my days on a service crew for an HSR Chevette - classic stuff, loved the DS short-cut, thank you! Very Happy

The looooong panning shot of the Toyota coming towards the camera must have been done in Glasgow as that's what the roads are like up here just now!!!! Rolling Eyes

WOW what a great video .

Nice to see the big cars like the mercedes and volvo,s in the time of the normale street cars.

To see the massif crowds running for there life , its a miracle that there have not been more big accidents in those days .

Some fabulous bits of film in there.
The older bits were obviously from the 60's-early 70's,when it was still possible to take a fairly standard car on a rally.
The Quattro pretty much changed all that.
Which is why modern rallying is of no interest to me.
The DS towards the end made me smile too!Road?What road?We don't need no stinkin' road. Twisted Evil .To be honest,I think he took the long way round to avoid running over the picnickers Very Happy

I know toyota are having trouble with accelerators, brakes and steering recently, did they have the same trouble with that one in the video? Razz
