|
|
Simple question (forgive my lack of knowledge) I want to install a temperature gauge in my 1956 6 volt Ford Pop 103E. I don't think I can get a 6 volt gauge, are 'non-electrical' temp gauges available new, or is there an alternative from another car? What options do I have?
All non-offensive suggestions gratefully accepted! |

You want a "capilary" mechanical Bourden tube type. They are new on Ebay or http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/gauges/gauges.php#bak
Water temperature gauge.
Supplied with 5/8" UNFunion and 60" pipe.
Ref: 53323. £31.63 each
Or Holdens
Beware secondhand unless tested in boiling water as the tube is delicate and is easily pin-holed and then it will not work _________________ Rover P2
