they are, or certainly used to be, big with sidevalve (1172) Ford engines and parts, so have been around quite a while

I've used Joe Bradbury of Bradburys Engineering Loggerheads Nr Market Drayton Shropshire (01639 672900) for many years. Both Joe and Ian there are experienced with pre war engines and white metalling. In fact they remetalled the Alvis bottom end last year and did a super job at the right price.
The only snag is I heard a rumour last week Joe might be quite poorly at the moment and it is a small firm.
