Hi Folks,

This is my first post, so be gentle with me Rolling Eyes

I'm doing research on the Kew-Dodge 123 tipper (as seen in the classic 1957 Brit' film, 'Hell Drivers'). Does anyone out there have an original sales brochure for these trucks giving basic spec's, etc.? If so, would you be willing to share a good scan of it?

I know such things are rare. I could find only one example on the interblob, but the American dealer wanted an arm and a leg for it, and the other arm and leg for 'shipping' (it's only a single sheet of paper, less than A4 in size).

Cheers!

Info on the Kew Dodges does seem to be thin on the ground.

You could try getting in touch with the Griffin Trust, they're based in the old ex-RAF buildings at Hooton Park near Ellesmere Port. Someone I know there has at least two Kew Dodges, and may well have accumulated some literature along the way.

Their site seems to be u/s at the moment, but it might be worth re-trying it after a few days.

Thanks for that, Rick. The link is, indeed, broken at the moment, but I'll keep trying.
