I found this at the weekend at the Cuckoo Fayre in Laughton, near Hailsham East Sussex.
Cant be many around.
A Sirram 12v Electric car kettle fro late 1940s or early 1950s.
Sirram mad some lovely picnic sets, but I haven't seen many of these kettles, especially unused.
It cost me £4.00 a bargain I think

At 18 amps draw I don't think I'd use it too often,unless you're carrying enough passengers to push your car Razz

Yours made in the England by Sirram..mine made in Hong Kong by Siran..i would rather use yours than mine..i'm not sure i could (A) trust mine and (B) wait 25 mins for it to boil..while driving Shocked

I love the name, sounds same, and typical of early foreign imports.
It reminds me of the Sekon watch i had when a teen, remove the small logo after the name and it revealed DA. It was then a dodgy Sekonda and they way they got round the import.
