Just as I thought, these traction engine people are a bit different to us. One hand for steering, one for throttle and one for the brake.
And what is the surly kid up to?
A good turn out and something for just about everyone, enjoy.

The traction engine man seems to have 3 arms!
Ok on a rally field, but on the road, should you single man it gets a bit more awkward, more sociable to have two too.

Very nice pics!
Can be more sociable for the steersman than the stoker. The stoker has to remain sober but the steersman can get plastered and still remain within the law.

Again, super pictures thanks for posting. Interesting old tractors too. I particularly like the vintage with the PA attachment
