The only ones I can think of are the ones produced for trailers and caravans. Unfortunately they always seem to lack style!

Well of course on my 1939 P2 they are at each end of the number plate as fitted from new - Lucas ST51 D lamps. I have fitted reflectors on the rear wings though - they have a sloping back so the are vertical

So they were on my 1948 P3 Rover 60, as you have reminded me.
That was my first car. Wish I still had it. I do still have the solenoid double dipping headlamp units fitted into my FL1 though. I swapped the Rover to sealed beam units.
