Hi
I didn't realise that miles were so much shorter before WW2.
OVER 100mph and 100mpg from the £100 car????????? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Hard to believe in less than 50 years when the UK had the largest motor manufacturer after the US everything went wrong is less than 10 after it was pushed into partnership with Leyland/Rover!
Lord Nuffield also gave over £30m to various charities before he died in 1963 but Morris is all but forgotten although Nuffield Foundation still exists and its BUPA hospitals.
All the marques were still going strong in the mid 1960's but the rot was already fatally set in the lot of them with Rootes the first casualty followed by Rover _________________ Rover P2
