|
|
I have a 1934 Hillman minx two seat sports 'Beetle Back'. It is the only one running world wide.
I have managed to obtain a pair of the trafficators as originally fitted. However the car has been upgraded to a 12V system for safety reasons and the trafficators are 6V.
Th original ones were ruined as the previous owner did not allow for the increase in voltage and the induction coils were burnt out and the units badly damaged.
Does anyone know how to drop the voltage from 12 to 6 Volt?
I know I could use a dropper resistor but this would produce a lot of heat!!!
Thanks and Rgds
