Hi Richard H
Got my new plates from Framptons -Excellent Service
lowdrag,
she is a bit thirsty as she wofts along but well worth it....
I went to see a french polisher on sunday tom tom took me the wrong way
Hence I ended up on nice narrow roads....
A quick learning curve for driving the car on narrow lanes
Then when I got to the the French Polishers the gguy didnt turn up .... C$%*
Started a bit of intereior cleaning at the week-end as waiting for service parts...

Taking them off to clean under and clean
Interior Strip out:
A grim parcel shelf plus the surround needs further attention....
PO refitted the rear window badly....
Passenger seat nearly stripped down first parts off to the polishers this wednesday... (Top piece of wood not in below pic before anyone asks where it is
I couldnt believe the weight of this seat, it was literally like moving an armchair in the lounge... _________________ Car-Nut

Nice mould on the back seat, a sure sign the car's been left outside with a leaky rear window seal |

I was gonna take that grey sound proofing off (its a bit like asbestos) I was gonna do it all with a sound deadening or do think thats an overkill as plenty of underfelt.
Also need to remove and refit rear screen and put in new seal any tips removing and refitting rear screen greatfully received _________________ Car-Nut

Good point Michael...
I try not to be a cheque book enthusiast and only use the professionals when I have to....
I'd like to give it a good go before I was subject to getting someone out to it....
My headlining Ive got coming up which needs retrimming I know is out of my league so it will be case of finding a good craftsmen I can trust to work on my car _________________ Car-Nut
