Hi Phil, thanks for your reply, but its not that car, just had a look at one http://www.flickr.com/photos/albertsbite/3074332877/

these are very different, as the rubber goes both up & under bottom & top, I have never seen them, on any other car, thats why I try inhere??

they seem to be made in Stainless steel, or they have VERY good chrome on them.

Guesswork, but I'm thinking MGB or Rover.
In picture 008, does it match the bumper profile? It's too dark to really see.
Doesn't the W&P catalogue say what they fit?

Hi Peter, no I havent seen any MG or Rover, with these overriders Question

Yes it match the bumper profile, but if they are taken from another car, WP would have reshaped the profile to match.

Yes it does say what they fit, but I want to find out where WP got them from?? so I can find some? as I am missing 2 Crying or Very sad
My car had a rearshunt more than 30 years ago, so only the front ones were left on the car, when I found it.

Hi Penman,

yes maybe ?? but my biggest problem is that I am living in Denmark, so I dont have access, to all these old catalouges Rolling Eyes
thats why I posted my question inhere, and on three other forums.

Maybe they are from some Italien made car?? W&P did raid the Inno partsbins, for some of the "Bling" they fitted to the MARGRAVE.

Its the only part on the car, I havent sourced---all other parts that W&P fitted/used on the MARGRAVE conversion, have I located Wink

It took me 8 years to find out what model Recaro it was? - same as fitted to a Porsche 911 Carrera RS.

Probably a long way off, but they are similar to those fitted to a Ford Corsair 2000E I owned many moons ago. But I bet they were not stainless!

Did you check the "E" (executive model)?. They were different to normal versions.

Not that it helps with where they are from, but check with a magnet, a fridge magnet will do. If they are stainless the magnet won't stick.

Some (lesser quality?) stainless items WILL attract a magnet, though not very strongly. If in doubt compare the "cling" with that on a piece of normal iron or steel.
