A vintage Hupmobile in 1920's Canada.

A small collection of photos bought many years ago appears to hail from Canada, and amongst them was the following photo of a 1920's Hupmobile sedan. One of the photos in this set was of people in Star City, Saskatchewan. As a group, the photos mainly revolve around matters farming, perhaps shedding some light on the possible location for this scene. Maybe. Anyway, a note on the reverse, written in ink, offers the following information:
"This is my car that we use in summertime, you will note the different scenery from winter travel. The make of car is a Hupmobile."

A Hupmobile saloon car
The Hupmobile is quite low on its springs, reflecting the full load of passengers sat within its boxy saloon bodywork. The car is filthy, suggesting that its coachwork, supported by hickory wheels as was the case for many American cars of the 1920s, had already led a hard working life.
As for the precise build date of this car, I'm not sure (1925/1926 would be a fair estimate), and the specific model i.d. has yet to be confirmed - the Model E is a likely choice.
