1930's Motor Engineers
One of many old invoices that now feature in the motoring collectables and memorabilia section here at oldclassiccar. This particular item is an invoice issued by a car workshop/garage that was situated in Bovey Tracey, and issued to Tucker Brothers, some time in the 1930s. It seems that Moir & Davie had cars available to hire, and also did work on, and sold parts for, customer cars too.
The invoiced items were the re-charging of a 6 volt battery, and a couple of months later a '12 volt Lithanode Indicator', and a pair of C.A.V. 6 volt batteries. It would have been interesting to know what vehicle they were for, as the mention of CAV usually means for a Commercial Vehicle of some kind.
