Austin Clifton Heavy 12 4.Picture taken at the Kelsall Classic Car Show, Cheshire.
The Austin Clifton was made famous by childrens author Val Biro in his series of Gumdrop story books. The 12/4 shown here was restored in less than a year after having been found under dust sheets in a dry barn. The quality of the rebuild is evident in this photograph. I'd be interested to include more details of this cars history, so if you own the Clifton Heavy 12 4 shown below, or are a bit of an expert on the subject of Austin then by all means get in touch. |
