The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic Austin Mini Cooper 997 seen on 13th Nov 2005.

Sitting on proper wide steel 10inch rims is this great little 997cc Mini Cooper from 1962. Tartan red with a black roof was a popular colour combination for the sixties' Coopers.

This picture, of an early Mini Cooper 997, is photo number 81 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
