The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic MG MGB GT seen on 13th Nov 2005.

This '67 MGB has received a lot of prep work before being used competitively. The headlamps are protected by covers reminiscent of those seen on the Paddy Hopkirk MGC GT registration RMO 699F. The brake cooling ducts also look like those on the P-H car.

This picture, of an early MGB GT, is photo number 82 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
